The Baked Bear World Ice-Cream Sandwich Eating Championship

Major League Eating is proud to announce yet another addition to our 2017 slate of sanctioned eating Championships. Meet The Baked Bear World Ice-Cream Sandwich Eating Championship, where a world record will be set in the Ice-cream Sandwich discipline for the first time in human history. This record-setting event will be held at Park at the Park, adjacent to Petco Park, the home of the San Diego Padres.

There is no place better than San Diego, CA, when the warm air of the early summer wraps its soft blanket around every one of her citizens. There is no better summertime snack than the ice-cream sandwich. And there is no ice-cream sandwich that can compare to the decadent deliciousness that is the Baked Bear ice-cream sandwich. (Seriously, scope their Instagram whenever you are feeling low or in need of some summer cheer.) They make magic. Delicious magic. For the purposes of the competition, chocolate chip cookies will sandwich vanilla ice-cream, a classic example of the dish and a credit to the American way of life.
