Nathan’s Famous: Seattle Style

  • 1 package Nathan’s Famous hot dogs
  • 6-8 top split hot dog buns
  • 4 oz. cream cheese, softened about 1/2 c.
  • 1/2 c. sauerkraut
  • 1/4 c. pickle relish
  • 1/4 c. chopped onion
  • mayonnaise optional
  • Ketchup and mustard optional


  • Allow hot dogs to come near room temp before cooking. Place over LOW on pre-heated grill. Once skin starts to glisten, turn hot dogs over and cook until toasted evenly on all sides.
  • Spread 1 T. cream cheese on inside bottom half of each bun. Place hot dogs on buns.
  • Top with sauerkraut, pickle relish, and onion.
  • Add mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard if desired. Enjoy!
