Some recent history: Joey Chestnut won the 2016 Elk Grove Giant Pumpkin Festival World Pumpkin Pie Eating Championship by eating a staggering 19lb 6oz of pie in eight minutes. Carmen Cincotti would finish in second place; Miki Sudo came third.
