At last year’s event, Joey Chestnut made it five wins in a row by downing 10lb, 6.4oz of St Elmo shrimp cocktail in eight minutes. He is undefeated at the event and is expected to return to Indianapolis once more to defend his title.
Brave Major League Eaters will step up to challenge the great Chestnut in an event he straight up owns, in hopes of breaking his world record of 15 pounds of St. Elmo Shrimp Cocktail in eight minutes, set in 2016.
