Chocolate Birthday Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 6 tablespoons corn oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup water
  • Double Chocolate Fudge frosting

Instructions

  • Mix together dry ingredients in a square 8"x 8" baking dish. Create 3 holes in the flour mixture. Fill each hole with a different liquid ingredient, then add the water. Whisk together and pour into glass baking dish (no greasing or flouring necessary, as it will not stick).
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook for 20 to 30 minutes or until toothpick tests clean. Remove from oven and allow cake to cool completely. Frost cake and serve.
  • Double recipe for 9” x 13”
