Chocolate Birthday Cake
Servings 9 servings
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 6 tablespoons corn oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup water
- Double Chocolate Fudge frosting
Instructions
- Mix together dry ingredients in a square 8"x 8" baking dish. Create 3 holes in the flour mixture. Fill each hole with a different liquid ingredient, then add the water. Whisk together and pour into glass baking dish (no greasing or flouring necessary, as it will not stick).
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook for 20 to 30 minutes or until toothpick tests clean. Remove from oven and allow cake to cool completely. Frost cake and serve.
- Double recipe for 9” x 13”
