Classic Pumpkin Pie
Servings 8
Ingredients
- 2 cups canned pumpkin
- 1 1/2 cups evaporated milk
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
- 2 large eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 unbaked pie crust
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425ยฐ F. Mix the ingredients in the order given. Pour mixture into an unbaked pie crust.
- Bake 15 minutes, then reduce the oven to 350 degrees. Bake 45 minutes longer or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Double recipe for 2 pies.
