Wrap cinnamon sticks and cloves in cheesecloth, tie securely and place in slow cooker
Add orange slices to wine and spice mix
Cover and cook on HIGH for 2 to 2 ½ hours
Discard spice bag
Ladle into mugs and serve

Since this recipe adds some spice, save your expensive vintage wine for another occasion. Your grocery-store variety will do just fine.
Keep the lid on the cooker closed the entire time. Stand back when opening the lid – the steam will be hot!
