1 1/2poundsboneless, skinless chicken breast cut into ½” strips
2tablespoonsground chili powder
1/4teaspoongarlic powder
1teaspoonkosher salt
1/2teaspoonblack pepper
3tablespoonsolive oil, divided
1green bell pepper, sliced thin
1red bell pepper, sliced thin
1onion, sliced thin
8flour tortillas, fajita-sized
Instructions
In a large glass bowl, mix together the chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Add chicken strips and toss until well seasoned.
In a large skillet over medium-high, heat 2 tablespoons olive oil until hot but not smoking. Add chicken and sauté until cooked through, about 10 minutes. Remove the chicken and set aside. Heat the remaining oil in skillet, add peppers and onions and sauté until tender, about 5 minutes. Return chicken to skillet with vegetables and heat through. Serve immediately.
Serve fajitas in warmed tortillas
